1) Johannah Leedham - Women's Basketball: Franklin Pierce's British phenom led the women's basketball team with 23.5 points per game.
2) Kyle Vazquez - Baseball: at the time of print, Vazquez has an 8-0 record, including an astonishing 98 strikeouts. Vazquez contributed an incredible 10-inning shutout performance on May 2nd to beat UMass Lowell; a win that clinched the 2009 Northeast-10 Conference regular season championship for the Ravens.
3) Angelika Johansson - Women's Soccer: the Swedish soccer machine scored an unbelievable 63 points as a Raven in 2008. She collected a number of accolades, including Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Year and ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Honors.
4) Jennifer Leedham - Women's Basketball: the elder Leedham scored 12.3 points per game in 2009. She finished her collegiate career with a bang, going 12-for-20 including 5-for-7 from three point range, while Minnesota State - Mankato blanketed her younger sister throughout the game.
5) Gabriela Demoner - Women's Soccer: the Brazil native anchored the Ravens midfield for the third consecutive season, while registering 25 points on the season. Her ball skills routinely drew attention from multiple opposing players, opening passing lanes that sparked scoring opportunities for the Ravens.
6) Mike Dowd - Baseball: with the Ravens needing immediate help at catcher with the graduation of Matt Anderson, Dowd met expectations and then some. He leads the Ravens in batting average at .365, on base percentage at .440, and has knocked in 36 runs so far in 2009. Most importantly, Dowd has started all 45 games for the Ravens at the time of print.
7) Vinny Papageorgiou - Men's Soccer: the freshman goalkeeper was successful in making his bid to replace the great James Thorpe in goal for the Ravens. In 2008, he registered a 0.86 goals against average, and stopped .746% of the shots he faced. 8) Lauren Stille - Women's Lacrosse: the sophomore scored 77 points, including 64 goals, during the 2009 regular season.
9) Kristin Tormollan - Field Hockey: the freshman goalkeeper stepped into collegiate play and shined immediately. She played in all 20 contests as a first year player, registering a 2.13 goals against average and a .746 save percentage.
10) Anthony Chighisola - Ice Hockey: the true freshman provided a much needed scoring punch for a Ravens hockey team trying to build it's program. He was tied for the lead in points in the 2008-2009 season with 26, and led the Ravens with 12 goals.
