Robert Lawson’s new play, “The Transit of Mercury Across the Face of the Sun,” premiered April 20 and showed through the 24 in the Warehouse Theatre.
We’re coming to the end of the semester and also to the end of my time as Assistant Music Director for the radio station
This is it. It's time to graduate and move away from all the restaurants that Harmony and I have reviewed in the past two years.
I recently went to the Percussion Ensemble concert on April 26 and it was quite good. Under the direction of Douglas Perkins, the percussion ensemble played pieces they composed. The students used many different instruments such as bells, snare drums, a drum set, symbols, a bass drum, bongos, gongs, and a violin bow.
“The Transit of Mercury Across the Face of the Sun” is a new play by Bob Lawson, which opens on April 20 and lasts until April 24. All performances are at 7:30 p.m. in Franklin Pierce’s Warehouse Theater and last a little longer than an hour.

Laura Bell Bundy: Achin' and Shakin
I’m going to step a little outside of the box for this week’s review. This time I’m looking into the country music genre for my AMD Mailbox. I was fortunate to see this week’s artist as Elle Woods in Broadway’s “Legally Blonde – The Musical.” After leaving Broadway, Laura Bell Bundy went on to create her major label country debut, Achin’ and Shakin’.

Ke$ha: Animal

In Boston, Christmas is the time for punk rock. The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, a Boston ska-core band best known for the 90’s hit “The Impression That I Get,” hold an annual concert series during the days after Christmas called the Hometown Throwdown.
I am a big Romantic Comedy fan but I have to admit that a really good film in this genre can be hard to find.
Take a second and think of all the things that break: glass, cars, and relationships to just name a few. A break can be good like spring break or a break can be bad like a break-up.
Marco Polo Garden
His I could say that Marco Polo Garden had the best food I had ever eaten, but that’s just because I was very hungry at the time. Some nasty scheduling conflicts left Harmony and I with a very quick lunch, and no dinner until 8:00 p.m. So that terrific food was actually just average Chinese food that you can get at any average Chinese restaurant anywhere.
